The Institute has double-storey, well-furnished and centrally air-conditioned computer centre which provides facility for various labs for M.C.A. and B.Tech. Programmes. The centre has more than 150 computers of latest configurations. Most of these are P-4 computer systems from various multinational companies like H.P., I.B.M., Compaq, etc. The centre is networked in client server environment with the help of latest servers. It has O.F.C. as its backbone cable and various blocks of the institute are inter-connected.

All the departments are also intertwined with the centre. In the centre, there are different networking labs of Windows-NT, Windows-2000 and Linux. The centre is well-equipped regarding latest licensed software as per course requirements. It has all the basic peripherals comprising latest Scanners, Printers, C.D. writers, etc. Furthermore, it has 24 hours connectivity of Internet through 2 different leased lines having the capacity of 64 KBPS and 256 KBPS respectively provided by VSNL and GLIDE. The centre remains open from 9 in the Morning to 12 in the Night to facilitate the students.

The institute is one of the leading institutes of North Region who are successfully running the CISCO Academy. It has all the basic amenities regarding CISCO Network, e.g. Five Routers, Switches from CISCO, etc. The students get trained and stand benefited from CISCO Academy besides their normal courses. The centre has also its well managed Computer Maintenance Cell which is lucrative for the students as well as staff.
