Along with the
academic activities, MIMIT organizes cultural
activities (Music, Dance, Theatre, Fine Arts and
Literary) for all round development of the students.
With regards to this, the institute arranges an
Intra Institute Talent Search Competition every year
to find out talented students in various cultural
events. The institute organizes various workshops
and training programmes regularly to improve the
co-curricular talent of the students.

Festival of Punjab Technical University in
2002.

has participated in five Zonal Youth
Festival and won overall Winner up trophy
three times and Runner up trophy two times
till date.

has participated in Inter Zonal Youth
Festival many times and won Runner up trophy
in 2009-10.

MIMIT has
participated in North Inter Varsity Youth
Festivals organized by Association of Indian
Universities, New Delhi held at Kurukshetra
University, Kurukshetra, Jammu University,
Jammu and Guru Nanak Dev University,
Amritsar.
