Department Computer Science & Engineering was set up in 2004. The Department
works as the controlling center of computing for the entire institute. The
department function as a Nodal agency for the department wide networking across
the entire Institute and provides internet connectivity to various departments
through its servers, radio links, and switches. The department has three
esthetically designed dedicated labs, two for software development and one for
Internet. The institute has lease line connectivity of 18 MBPS from
Reliance Communication Ltd. The institute has been provided the Wi-Fi
connectivity throughout the campus. The department is having about 500 computer
systems of latest configuration and latest licensed software as per course
requirements. Core competencies of the department are in the area of Artificial
Intelligence, Intrusion Detection, Network Security, image processing, network
security and web development etc.
