Note: (1) The fee structure is in accordance with the Notifications of State Govt. of Punjab/University issued from time to time

(2) Securities (Refundable includes Institutional Security - Rs. 2000/- and Library Security = Rs.2000/-

(3) Cycle/Scooter Stand fee, Blazer Cloth, Cooperative Membership Fee and such other expenses will be charged extra as per decision

(4) Hostel related fee(s)/ Securities will be charged extra as per decision.

(5) University related fee includes Examination Fee Rs.700/- per semester

(6) Insurance Premium against joint comprehensive insurance scheme is charged as per DTE letter no.2695-2794/S-2/ECC/2006 dt.23.10.2006 and it may vary from year to year

(7) If there is any change in the fee structure, difference will be charged/adjusted as per decision

Fee to be charged from the SC/ST Students eligible under Post Matric Scholarship Scheme

As per the memo received from Director Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab Vide reference No.1663-1772/S-3/E C.C./2007 dated 25.07.2007 & ITC/PMS/1967-2117 dated 23.10.2007 the non- refundable fees from those SC/ST students who are eligible under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme are not to be charged w.e.f. session 2007-08. Accordingly as per decision of Institute's authorities all non- refundable fees are not to be charged from the SC/STstudents eligible under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme. Detail of refundable securities and other charges to be charged in the above referred cases is as follows:

As per the decision, the claim in this regard after proper scrutiny will be forwarded to the concerned authorities for reimbursement. If the refund is not received from Govt. of Punjab with in the stipulated period of time then the concerned student will be responsible for making payment of the dues to the Institute.

Note: (1) The fee structure is in accordance with the Notifications of State Govt. of Punjab/University issued from time to time

(3) If there is any change in the fee structure, difference will be charged/adjusted as per decision

Rules for Adjustment/ Refund of Fees

(As per PTU 2011 Brochure)

(a) In case a student changes his / her college /University during second centralized counseling conducted by PTU his / her fee shall be refunded by the previous Institution after deduction of Rs. 1000/- only and the original documents will be returned immediately.

(b)In case a student surrenders his / her seat within 7 days of the end of the online counseling, he / she must submit application to the college. Colleges must refund his / her full fee after deduction of Rs.1000/-only.

Note: The guidelines issued by AICTE/PTU from time to time in this regard will be applicable.

SECURITY REFUND

On the written request of the student, security will be refunded to the student on the completion of his/her programme provided the request is submitted in writing by the student in a period of one year of his/her completion of the programme i.e. by 31^st July of next year.
