Malout Institute of
Management and Information
Technology is brought up
under the able guidance of
Board of Governors, headed
by Hon’able Technical
Education Minister, Govt. of
Punjab. Located in the Green
Field Enclave, Malout
(Punjab), the self contained
campus is a beautiful
academic and administrative
three storied building
spread over 25 acres of land
which has been magnificently
and aesthetically designed
by the Chief Architecture of
Punjab.
MIMIT is the only
Govt. Institute to offer
both
MBA & B.Tech
programs in Punjab. At
present, it is
offering four
undergraduate courses,
i.e. B.Tech.-IT, CSE,
ECE & ME and one
postgraduate course, i.e. MBA.

MIMIT is 3rd of its kind
in India to offer certified courses
recognized by SUN Microsystems. The institute has a certified
academy for training students in
collaboration with CISCO Inc. The institute
offers an inspiring learning environment,
which transforms our bright young scholars
into talented, creative and disciplined
professionals.
The Institute also has a centrally
Air-Conditioned double storied Computer
Center equipped with a number of computers,
mainly with C2D configuration. It is
connected to LAN and has the latest
technology, licensed software and
peripherals along with around the clock
internet access through 6Mbps leased
line(1:1). On its lush green, pollution-free campus, it
has well designed and graciously built
separate hostels for boys and girls having
capacity for 350 boys and 150 girls
respectively with all modern facilities
