Most of faculty are involved in various research activities and perusing PhD Programme from reputed universities .Faculty team of the department involves their students into Industry based projects sponsored by Punjab Technical University ,Jallandhar. Our department currently provides various research /lab facilities like: Universal testing machine, Impact testing machine, Hardness tester, Inverted metallurgical microscope with camera, Weighing balance(LC=0.01 mg), Tube furnace with PID controller, Metallographic facilities, Permeability test of sand, Batliboi high precision lathe machine, Petrol and Diesel multicylinder test rig.
